Welcome to the Alberni Valley Employment Centre website!

The Alberni Valley Employment Centre provides free assistance to job-seekers in the Alberni-Clayoquot region of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

We can provide you with job search tips, help you with resumés, cover letters and interviews, and prepare you to do your best in a competitive job market.

Come visit one of our Resource Centres, where you can find job search information, access computers, phones, a fax machine and photocopier for job search activities, and get up-to-date advice on where to apply for jobs.

Employment Counsellors are available to help you make career decisions, conduct a successful job search, or apply to participate in government-funded employment programs.
