Sylvan Home Builders Inc. is a successful contracting business in Tofino/Ucluelet. We are looking for an experienced carpenter who works well with others and is interested in a versatile and challenging opportunity.
The ideal candidate has experience with renovations and building new homes. Excellent organizational and people skills are essential. May be asked to do material take offs and read construction plans.
Experience working on construction projects including concrete, framing, siding and finishing, with solid foundation in all the tools and ability to work unsupervised are a must.
**Health Plan and Apprenticeship Training Available.**
Required: Successful applicants must supply their own hand tools, PPE, and essential power tools (drill, driver, etc). Must have your own vehicle, secure accommodation in the area and be willing to work outside in all weather.
First aid qualifications are an asset but not required.
Journeyman ticket is an asset but not required.
