The Port Alberni Association for Community Living is accepting applications for casual support workers. Applicants must be available for days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
Successful applicants will have a Community Service Worker certificate/diploma or a combination of education or experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. Applicants must be able to support individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and activities in the community. Successful applicants will be required to have a Class 4 Drivers License prior to completion of their probationary period a current Emergency First Aid and CPR Certificate, necessary immunizations as per the Ministry of Health and a satisfactory Criminal Record Search through the Solicitor General's office.
