Heavy Duty Mechanic – Team Lead

HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC -TEAM LEAD 
Full-Time

Berk's Intertruck Ltd. has an immediate need for a Commercial Transport / Heavy Duty Mechanic to fill the role of Service Team Lead in our busy Port Alberni location

PRIMARY FOCUS:

Working closely with the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for helping with day to day operation of our Service Department

First point of contact with customers, scheduling appointments, communicating with the shop team

Assistance in the shop with repairs will be required. Must be comfortable working on all makes of trucks and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified Journeymen with Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) Certification 

Minimum Class 3 license with Air Brake Endorsement is preferred

Must provide clean driving abstract

Strong leadership and team work oriented

Strong communication and problem resolution skills are a must
