Are you a hardworking and a natural leader? We are looking for you to join our team! We are looking for an Interim Team Leader for our Port Alberni Location. While this position is only temporary, it is a great opportunity for an individual looking for entry-level experience into the fields of finance and/or management. The length of employment will be determined based on the individual needs of the branch, but could potentially lead to a permanent position based on availability.

This individual will plan, coordinate and also oversee various business functions which are performed by the other team members of Venue Financial Centres. The Team Leader will not only supervise the work of other employees but they will perform a wide range of tasks themselves in their role as Team Leader.  

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Perform general everyday tasks necessary for the efficient running of the Branch
  • Increase profitability and customer retention through relationship development
  • Manage credit and loan approval process
  • Manage staff activities such as: hiring, training, development, performance evaluations and employee relations issues in a fair, professional, consistent, and timely manner
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate staff members to excellence, provide training and guidance necessary to achieve / exceed branch and company goals
  • Oversee all collection files and collections efforts. 
  • Monitor cash transactions, daily reports, and close out reports
  • Complete tasks and assignments as directed by Head Office
