Onsite Caretaker

The Port Alberni Port Authority is seeking a contracted caretaker effective November 15th, 2018 for China Creek Campground & Marina.
The caretaker of the facility is responsible for the overall security of China Creek Campground and Marina. Key tasks of this responsibility include recorded daily and nightly patrols in addition to opening and closing the gate daily.
Candidates must be comfortable living onsite at China Creek Campground year round and have reliable transportation. The Successful contractor must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as they are required to observe, document and report daily activities. The contractor will report directly to the Manager Marina Services, or designate, on a regular basis and in the event of an observed concern.
In lieu of services the successful candidate will be provided with onsite housing of a five bedroom partially furnished apartment with hydro included.
