Sales Rep (Summer Student)

Job Description
The Impact Group is an umbrella company located in Port Alberni, BC which operates TC Consulting which is a Marketing Company focusing on Social Media Marketing, Website Development and Sales and Island Security which is an ADT Dealer.
We are looking for someone who is wanting to get into the Sales Industry as we are looking for individual to do sales for both companies.
This job will require a person who is well spoken, good with people/conversations and outgoing. This person also must be okay with door knocking, cold calling, following up with leads, e-mailing etc.
TThis position is a Canada Summer Jobs position open to students who meet the eligibility requirements of the program. To be eligible to participate in the CSJ initiative, individuals must:
• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
• Have been registered as full-time students in the previous academic year andintend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
On top of the hourly pay this job will have commission/bonus structure in place.
This job is a 9 week program, 40 hours per week.
