• Complete opening and closing checklists. • Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties. • Prepare a variety meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in various types of food equipment. • Understands and compiles consistently with our standard portion sizes and recipe specifications. • Follows proper plate presentation and garnishes. • Uses our standard recipes for preparing all products. • Handle, store and rotate all products properly. • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including prep tables, shelves, walls, stoves, convection ovens, deep fryers, refrigeration equipment, and more. • Close kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. • Inform Executive Chef immediately of any product shortages. • Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen manager, or the MOD at any time. • Keep the highest hygiene condition. • Competitive wages • Staff Discounts at our on-site restaurant/pub • Discounted in-house Marine Adventure tours (Whale Watching, Bear Watching, Hot Springs Cove Tours) 

Qualifications 

• Must have basic knowledge of cooking and food handling procedures. • Must have an understanding and knowledge of safety and sanitation • Previous cooking experience. • Have the ability to take direction and work in a team environment. • Have the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and in a fast paced environment. • Passionate about working with quality ingredients • Committed to being part of a highly successful team.
