• Take beverage orders from guests and servers. • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the standard drink recipes. • Learns the names and personally recognize our regular guests. • Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receiving them into the POS system. • Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable). • Wash and sterilize glassware. • Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish as needed. • Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. • Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages. • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas. • Performs daily side duties as per the posted list. • Report all equipment problems, bar maintenance issues and guest/service complaints to manager on duty. • Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies. • Receiving liquor orders. • Liquor inventory. • Competitive wages • Staff Discounts at our on-site restaurant/pub • Discounted in-house Marine Adventure tours (Whale Watching, Bear Watching, Hot Springs Cove Tours) • Staff Accommodations available for the right candidates
• Be 19 years of age and possess a Serving It Right certification. • 1+ years hospitality experience in a customer facing role (preferably bartending). • Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes. • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a POS. • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds. • Proven track record of creating world-class experiences. • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills. • Must have a strong passion to succeed and the willingness to learn and be coached by others
