We’re a fast paced and rapidly growing electrical contractor based in Tofino., and we’re looking for someone to join our team. Professional construction company whilst maintaining the family-style ethos.

  • Salary: $15 - $20 per hour depending on experience
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Flexible
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Benefits: Full Benefits package after probation period.

Role:

  • Carry out daily administrative duties, working under the guidance of our Office Manager
  • Complete payroll bi-weekly using our accounting software.
  • Daily employee interaction: Benefits packages, vacation requests etc
  • Enrolment of new hires
  • Generating purchase orders and tracking invoices and payables
  • Working within our construction software; PO’s, timesheets, customer information, invoicing.
  • Client interaction; Receiving job requests, generating and submitting invoicing
  • Review, evaluate, and implement new administrative procedures
  • Receiving material deliveries and tracking
Qualifications 

Minimum one year in an office environment, however training is provided.

Skills:

  • Must be proficient in the following; Microsoft Excel & Word.
  • Self starter: Ability to manage their own time and workload accordingly
  • Experience of Quickbooks is an asset
  • Excellent written /oral communication required.
  • The ability to work unsupervised is essential.
