As a dock hand, you are the face of adventure at our resort, and often the first face customers see as they step off the boat of float plane, ready for adventure.  

Tofino Resort + Marina is an adventure-focused resort with 62 rooms located on the waterfront, and is also the proud home of 1909 Kitchen and The Hatch Waterfront Pub. Set in the heart of town, on the water, Tofino Resort + Marina is a comfortable and capable base camp for west coast adventure. Job Description: 

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties 

• Greet guests arriving, help dock and ensure guests are moored in the correct slip 
• Assist in moving boats to accommodate others arriving (if necessary) 
• Tote fish and assist guests from boats with their totes 
• Show moorage guests the onsite facilities (ice room, guest showers, washrooms, etc) 
• Keep docks and moorage facilities clean and well maintained 
• Be aware of dock rules/policies, and make sure guests are aware as well 
• Assist in charter office if needed 
• Assisting with tying up Float Planes as needed
