The Store Manager is responsible for the management and development of all store employees, to achieve and exceed revenue targets. The Store Manager is also expected to coach, mentor and conduct regular performance reviews of all employees to assist in motivating and engaging staff in exceptional customer service. Additional management duties include budget execution, inventory control, recruitment and enforcement of all policies and procedures. Other duties, relevant to the position will be required.

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train and conduct regular performance reviews to maintain staff requirements.
  • Assign and prepare work schedules in alignment with business trends.
  • Maintain specified inventory levels and order merchandise accordingly.
  • Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and employee matters.
  • Engage and motivate employees to support excellent customer service.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Plan budgets, authorize expenditures and attain budgeted revenue expectations.
  • Comply with, and enforce all policies and procedures, at all times.
  • Plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure Occupational Health & Safety and Violence Prevention legislation compliance.
  • Perform other duties, relevant to the position, as necessary.

Work Conditions

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Interacts with upper management, colleagues, clients and vendors
  • Standing for long periods.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.

Please Note - this position requires the right candidate to become Propane Certified. We are looking to fill the position beginning/mid November.
