An Anytime Fitness Personal Trainer is responsible for helping all members “get to a healthier place.” Guiding members through presale, engaging with the community, and bringing a technical element of expertise to the gym will be very important. A trainer’s ultimate role is to manage the Member Onboarding Process which includes conducting the fitness consultation, and establish training for individuals and groups based on Anytime Fitness principles and the goals of the individual.
Speaking to clients and setting up fitness consultations, performing fitness consultations, and facilitating training will be the focus of trainers work while other gym duties will form the supplementary work.
Trainers must be certified with their PTA Global Certification and be willing to continue their education. We are looking for team members that want to make health and wellness a part of their career, whether through furthering education in post-secondary institutions or continual training through Anytime Fitness and on the job experience
Trainers work closely with management to make sure both member needs are being exceeded and that club goals are being achieved. Sales is also a focus, and trainers will learn how to seamlessly on-board members and create personal connections for a personal experience. After careful training from both Anytime Fitness and managers, trainers will also begin to help strategize, organize and promote programs across several areas including: Community, Self-Directed, Virtual, Group and Personal Training. The training team helps with general upkeep of club and equipment as well as other club functions.
