Forklift Operator

The Opportunity

Slegg Building Materials Tofino is currently seeking a full time Forklift Operator.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

(Include but are not limited to the following)

• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
• Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities
• General housekeeping duties, stocking of merchandise or various yard and warehouse tasks are as required or directed by management
• Superior Customer Service
• Create lumber orders, and assist with special order sales
• Practice and promote workplace safety standards
• Specific ownership and accountability for a designated Yard section
• Flexible work hours
• Physically demanding
