Vancouver Island Regional Library is looking for a Library Page to join our Tofino Branch Team.

This position will appeal to high school, home schooled and university students. Hours may include mornings, after school, evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will be an outgoing individual who takes pride in being organized – accurately shelving materials and completing routine library tasks in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:
1. Shelving materials;
2. Stacking and sorting materials;
3. Shelf reading;
4. Pulling materials including: duplicate copies, worn and dirty materials as required;
5. Tidying, shifting, organizing and facing materials on shelves;
6. Collecting and emptying garbage, recycling, and shredding, etc.;
7. Replenishes cartridges, toner, and paper supplies in branch equipment.

Schedules are subject to change to accommodate the changing needs and demands of the business.
Current Schedule: Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm Hourly Rate: $13.85 per hour
