ADAPS Prevention Service is looking for a committed, experienced professional to complement their service delivery team.  The role will work on the Intensive Support and Engagement Team (ISE) delivering service to Youth

Qualifications 

   

  • The position requires recent experience working with at-risk populations.
  • Experience working with youth in-and-from Care,
  • And experience with MCFD ICM model and care plans is an asset. 

  ISE staff work in the community and out of our Youth Service Office.

  • The ISE Youth worker will provide, via outreach, support to youth to navigate relevant systems and develop life skills.
  • Support to youth to participate in pro-social activities, recreational activities and youth groups.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with HSW or other relevant education and a minimum of two years experience working with diverse populations of youth.

ADAPS is a Health Employees Association of BC Employer.

  • Successful candidates will be required to have union membership.
  • A Criminal Records review and valid driver’s license with clean abstract is required.
