Who we are:
We are a small and independent cafe/bakery, located on Argyle Street in downtown Port Alberni. Our focus is to provide the community with a warm and welcoming space to connect and restore, offering a creative food and beverage menu of seasonal, local, and organic ingredients for breakfast and lunch. We take a great deal of pride in what we do and hope that you do too!
We are planning for an opening date in mid July, however we will have our staff begin training up to two weeks prior to this date.
We are searching for the following Front of House position:
Full time Server/Support, working up to 40 hours per week. Due to the current restrictions under Covid19, the duties of this role will change over time. This is a comprehensive role, with duties ranging from opening and closing, cleaning, assistance with bar prep, answering phone and online orders, and preparing food for curbside pick up. Once restrictions are relaxed and we are able to invite guests inside for table service, your duties will change to a more traditional server role.

● Highly organized, efficient, great communication skills, and superior attention to detail.
● Reliable and punctual, calm under pressure.
● Work experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Passion and a willingness to learn is essential!
● Must be over the age of 19 and have a Serving It Right certificate.
