Job Description:

  • Complete opening and closing checklists.
  • Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
  • Prepare a variety meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in various types of food equipment.
  • Understands and compiles consistently with our standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
  • Follows proper plate presentation and garnishes.
  • Uses our standard recipes for preparing all products.
  • Handle, store and rotate all products properly.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area
  • Close kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
  • Inform Executive Chef immediately of any product shortages.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef or MOD
  • Keep the highest hygiene condition.
Qualifications 

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Previous cooking experience.
  • Must have knowledge of cooking and food handling procedures.
  • Must have an understanding and knowledge of safety and sanitation
  • Have the ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
  • Have the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about working with quality ingredients
