Tastes Local, a division of Query Distribution, is opening its first micro retail outlet on Vancouver Island. The team member will be expected to perform retail duties including inventory management and dealing with customers. In addition to retail duties we will be filling online orders at this location that will either be picked up at the location, or delivered to our central distribution centre (opening soon in the Parksville/Qualicum area). This team member will be the face of our business in Port Alberni and will be a key connector to the community.
Computer and internet skills are essential. An upbeat, energetic attitude is welcome. Initially the person will be working independently however, will be closely connected to our team across the Island.
The employee will receive extensive training in all areas of the business specifically with regards to order fulfillment. The team member will be in constant contact with our team and they will be on site at least two days a week.
