To thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms while adhering to company standards of cleanliness
To clean and maintain hotel public areas
To assist with laundry as required
To safely handle cleaning solutions and properly operate cleaning equipment
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
Maintaining a tidy and safe work environment
Complete any other tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

The ideal candidates have a great work ethic and a positive attitude
Candidates must be able to work in conjunction with the housekeeping management team to ensure that the daily duties are completed in a timely fashion and to the highest possible standard
Friendly and courteous guest relations skills and outstanding attention to detail is required
In order to provide guests with a consistent level of quality service, staff members will be required to commit to working for a 6-month term or longer
Arrives to work on time and present for all scheduled shifts in a presentable manner
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
Occasional ascending, descending ladders and stairs
Must be able to work safely with a variety of cleaning chemicals
Must be able to work independently and in a team setting
Schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays
SIN card and Visa requirement: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Positive attitude and a team mentality
Willingness to continuously learn and improve standards
