We are looking for sea kayak guides who are comfortable leading people in class 1 & 2 ocean waters. Have experience leading groups and facilitating introductory sea kayaking tours from 2.5hrs to 6hrs in duration. Able to provide natural & cultural history interpretation topics to guests. Able to monitor safety and mitigate hazards related to terrain and water conditions for your group.
The Tofino harbour is a fun, dynamic and scenic area to guide due to do the diversity of the tour area. Guides will need to be comfortable in open coastal paddling, currents, fog, and wind conditions. We are the pioneer sea kayaking company in Tofino where are humble roots began in 1988. We thrive on creating fun, educational, and adventurous experiences. We aim to connect people to nature through sustainable form of travel by kayak. You will be part of team whose aim is to create great kayaking experiences for our guests. This takes an attitude of flexibility, enjoy working with others, a can do attitude and a sense of humour.
