Maintenance Manager

Ucluelet Harbour Seafoods ltd is looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor to assist in managing the maintenance team in our facilities. The Successful candidate will support the maintenance & Engineering team in the continuous operation of our facility. An excellent maintenance supervisor must be reliable and have experience in the facility maintenance field; Refrigeration and food processing experience is ideal. They must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts relating to plant maintenance. Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling are also essential. The goal is to ensure that facilities are always operated in an efficient and safe manner. 

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities regularly to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Prepare daily maintenance and allocate work
• Recruit, train and supervise maintenance technicians, helping with tasks as required
• Inspect and maintain building systems 
• Contribute to the development of daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in coordination of projects
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, CFIA regulations, and OH&S regulations
