HFN Timber Tiles is seeking Production Workers for our Manufacturing Facility in Port Alberni BC

If you are reliable, energetic and want to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a diverse team, send us your resume. People hired will be provided with training to perform their roles safely and efficiently. We hire locally whenever possible. The facility is on a bus route.

HFN Timber Tiles woodworking machine operators operate one or more woodworking machines that manufacture Hemlock wall tiles.

Job Descriptions and Expectations:

  • Shifts are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 pm. Overtime and weekends may be required
  • Feed and collect wood from various wood processing machines
  • Dip, air knife and stack tile on racks for drying
  • Move product on trolleys along assembly line
  • Packaging station - boxing finished tiles for shipping
  • Operate forklift - move product in and out of facility - Certified Operators only
  • Site Clean-up
  • Attend all safety meetings and other meetings as required
  • Benefit Package after probation
