Driftwood Gift Shop, a family-owned retail store in Tofino, BC, is seeking a reliable and experienced Retail Store Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced, seasonal tourist environment.

Key Duties:

• Plan, organize, and manage the day-to-day operations of the store
• Supervise, train, and schedule sales staff
• Manage inventory, order merchandise, and coordinate with suppliers
• Develop and maintain attractive product displays and promotions
• Monitor sales performance and prepare sales reports
• Handle customer concerns and ensure a positive shopping experience
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
• Participate in hiring and performance evaluations of staff
• Oversee cash handling and daily financial balancing
