Nature of Position: the Temporary Women’s Outreach Worker provides a range of services including socio-educational activities and presentations on the issues of violence against women, violence prevention and safety promotion; follow up contact, referral and support for women and their children post transition house, post court hearing or following other victim services; short term crisis support; community capacity-building and coordination for women’s safety; and developing networks with related agencies and services.
