David Oscienny CPA, CA has an opening available for an accounting technician / bookkeeper. This position will be part-time with the possibility of advancing to full time. This position would be a good fit for someone to advance their skills in the accounting field, with the possibility of enrolling in the CPA program if desired.

Job Duties include:

Payroll administration
Tax return preparation
Data entry and reconciliation
Statutory remittances administration
Administrative duties as required (answering the phone, responding to emails, etc)
Filing government correspondence

Qualifications

Our preferred candidate will have:

Minimum 1 year of experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with bookkeeping and payroll work
Familiarity with common accounting programs
Knowledge of personal and corporate tax
A minimum of a post-secondary diploma in Business Administration (or equivalent)

Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team in a smaller office environment
