Housekeeping
Perform a variety of housekeeping duties, including but not limited to cleaning cabins, cleaning camping and lobby washrooms, laundry, main housekeeping responsibilities, etc.
Ensure all guests or potential clients are cared for and treated with utmost respect according to standards set forth by the resort Management
Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
Notify Managers of any damages, deficits and related issues
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Front Desk
Greeting guests upon their arrival and hosting them in a professional and welcoming manner
Overseeing & administrating front desk activity
Handling phone/email and in person inquiries
Handling reservations and booking guests into resort’s internal database
Daily Check in’s/Check Outs
Providing general information about Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park
Processing customer payments and providing/preparing final invoice upon check-out
Handling guest inquiries, concerns and complaints
Keeping the front desk neat, orderly, and sanitized at all times
Responsible for proper stocking of shelves, counters, and racks of merchandise and keeping them organized and fully replenished.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
Proficient in using office software such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with staff and guests for the ultimate experience.
Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks and maintaining records.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address issues, make informed judgments and handle unexpected situations effectively
