Duties: Supervises Weekend Kitchen Assistant, guests and volunteers when the dining area is open. Ensure kitchen and dining room run as per the Centre’s policies and health and fire regulations. Reports to the Facility Manager on activities and matters arising in the Facility Manager’s absence, and identifies issues among guests where the manager might need to take further action
Skills and Qualifications: REQUIRED Grade 12 Education or equivalent, Food Safe certificate, Must pass a Criminal Record Check, PREFERRED Supervisory training, Training in handling stressful situations calmly, Training in giving timely direction and supervision of volunteers and Training in being flexible, patient, positive and enthusiastic. Have training in Opioid Overdose Program.
