Job Outline:
The key responsibilities of the Housekeeping Room Attendant include but are not limited to:
Provide 5-star customer service to all guests.
Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
Perform quality cleaning to meet required quality standards within set time limits.
Clean guest rooms as assigned to Wya Point Resort quality standard including: dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
Clean public areas, storage rooms, Guest Services building and other areas as assigned.
Clean and stock linen and cleaning supply rooms.
Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (i.e.: extra pillows, kitchen supplies)
Perform rotation cleaning duties (i.e. deep cleaning)
Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
Work closely with Guest Services and Maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
Answer or investigate all guest inquiries in a timely manner.
Comply with all Resort safety guidelines and be familiar with Resort emergency procedures.
Ensure that guest room equipment and facilities are functioning properly and initiate maintenance deficiency reports as required.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
Physical Demands
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, along with movements such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs when required. In addition will be required to stand on feet and/or walk for long periods of time.
