The Tseshaht First Nation Administration Office is now accepting applications for Beachkeeper Attendants.

These positions are summer student positions at 80 hours bi-weekly (40 hours per week). The students may be required to work on evenings and weekends.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance of park facilities
Patrols
Range of visitor services including guest Tseshaht cultural interpretation
Assist in Tseshaht/parks Canada archaeological dig in the Broken Group Islands

Qualifications

Eligibility / Requirement (s):

Tseshaht Youth (15-30) who is a student returning to school in September
Familiar with on the water safety protocols and with small vessel operations
Able to perform light maintenance/janitorial duties to assist with the upkeep of park facilities and camp sites
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the Parks & Recreation field of work
Good Communication skills; able to interact positively with park visitors and assist with the orientation of visitors to park regulations
Do an online Youth Evaluations questionnaire before end of work tenure
