Job Summary
Works in conjunction with the Housekeeping Manager to coordinate and supervise the cleaning staff with the key aim of enhancing guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Daily room/public area inspections, delegating duties to housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that all rooms are cleaned in a timely manner
- Lead and monitor the day-to-day operations to ensure service standards are followed
- Assist with laundry, stripping, and other duties as required
- Fill in for housekeepers who are out due to sickness, vacations, etc.
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Promote team work with the housekeepers
- Assist with conducting the inventory
- Supervise and assist in additional projects as required
- Completes daily reports as requested
- Assigning housekeepers their daily tasks as needed
