Middle Beach Lodge is looking for a server to complete its kitchen team! We are hoping for our successful candidate to begin ASAP.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service, reliable, strong attention to detail, excellent ability to work in a team and is self-motivated. We have a beautiful open kitchen and dining room that overlooks the Pacific Ocean to host our guests.
We do a full dinner service 2-3 nights a week offer complimentary Deluxe Continental Breakfast each morning for our guests. We are looking for someone who we can train to fit both of these roles.
Dinner Server:
Duties include but are not limited to: Setting the tables, prepping the dining room and welcoming guests once dinner starts, serving desserts, busing tables, dish washing and cleaning the kitchen and dining room after dinner service. Hours are typically 5pm until 11pm (but are subject to change).
Breakfast Attendant:
Duties include but are not limited to: Opening the lounge and dining room each morning, getting everything ready for our deluxe continental breakfast (including baking), refilling food and supplies as needed throughout breakfast, caring for our coffee/tea bar, washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen and dining room when breakfast is over. Breakfast attendants are also expected to help our Chef with prep cooking for dinner for the last 2 hours of their shift and putting away food orders when delivered.
We also offer (limited) affordable staff accommodation (shared bedrooms and shared bathrooms).
Experience:
Serving experience is an asset but are willing to train the right person.
