ADAPS Prevention Service is looking for dynamic and experienced professionals to complement their service delivery team. The roles will work on the Intensive Support and Engagement Team (ISE) delivering service to Youth, and where appropriate, their parents and caregivers.
These positions require recent experience working with at-risk populations. The required candidates will have experience serving youth who present with multiple risk factors to substance misuse and mental health concern. Experience working with youth in-and-from Care, and experience with MCFD ICM model and care plans is an asset.
In addition to providing outreach, support, counselling and life skills to youth and families, The ISE Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination of the program, its services and staff. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree in CYCC, Social Work or relevant field. 3 years service to at-risk and high risk youth and 2 years experience in program coordination is desired. A combination of 7 years education, training and experience, combined with an HSW diploma or other relevant education will be considered.
Use of personal vehicle, a satisfactory driver’s abstract and a police records review will be required. ADAPS offers excellent remuneration and benefits. The roles are union positions requiring BCGEU membership
