While working with Black Rock Oceanfront Resort, and its affiliates, the right candidate will conduct themselves in accordance with our Core Values: Take Ownership, Integrity, Make a Difference, Professionalism.

This role serves as a direct outlets leader with a primary focus is night/day F&B service operations and managing the guest experience. In addition, this role is key to the ongoing coaching & training of service staff on the floor. This position guides F&B associates to drive exceptional guest service, cultivate employee engagement and maximize F&B financial performance.

Job Description

  • Opening, closing and outlet service support
  • Beverage program management and sales as required
  • Maintain accurate and updated standard operation procedures in partnership with leadership team
  • Employee Recognition
  • F&B service training programs
  • Support the orchestration and design of service
  • Performance feedback and coaching of all F&B service staff
  • Ensuring that F&B employees consistently have the tools to do their job
  • Systems management, specifically Visual 1 support
  • Build guest loyalty through service standards & quality assurance
  • Solicits feedback from both employees and guests to continually enhance operations
  • Accommodate guests and conduct floor operations
  • Administrative support – Can include: Ordering, Scheduling, Menu detail and formatting
  • Exceed guests’ expectations by providing exceptional customer service and anticipating guests’ needs
  • Help serving staff maximize food and drink revenue by employing strong sales techniques
  • Communicate with Culinary and Front of House to ensure quality of product and service is maintained
  • Comply with all Black Rock Health & Safety and Security regulations
  • Strictly adhere to all Black Rock Oceanfront Resort policies and procedures

Qualifications 
  • Education/Experience
    • FOODSAFE certification is an asset
    • Standard Cash Handling
    • Knowledge of Wines and Spirits
    • Some formal Hospitality Industry education is an asset
    • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate (Serving It Right) Required
    • Experience working in the kitchen is an asset
    • Experience in a similar leadership role an asset
    • 2+ Years Serving Experience is preferred
