PRODUCTION:
Execute production list weekly to meet the needs of retail and wholesale customers
Order meat for production
Produce fresh, smoked and cured meats
MAINTAIN EQUIPMENT AND CLEANLINESS:
Ensure all equipment and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized after use
Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized after use
Qualifications
FoodSafe certification
Experience with sausage, salami and salumi production (depending on experience will consider training if employee commits to long-term employment at Picnic.)
Confidence and experience with commercial kitchen production
Experience planning and ordering for production
Ability to work alone & self-motivated
Ability to delegate when necessary and work as part of a team
Desire to learn and take constructive criticism
Excellent communicator
Basic math, excel & typing skills
Passion for cleanliness and organization
Positive attitude
Good sense of humour a strong asset
