Secretaries perform basic secretarial, reception, information management, accounting and purchasing duties in both schools and district offices. Qualifications include Grade 12 graduation, formal training, two years recent experience, typing speed of 50 wpm, a demonstrable knowledge of computer hardware and office software, and working knowledge of basic accounting and purchasing procedures.
