The Housing Support Worker role will allow you to learn about how housing support work in practical terms and will enable you to develop the skills required to work effectively with our residents. You will be able to adapt your approach to suit a variety of situations and individuals. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with residents that may have been vulnerably housed in the past.
As a Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with residents ensuring that each client is provided with person centered support and empowered to make changes in their lives, including linking them in with the necessary external agencies.
To succeed, you will have an excellent understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people. You will also have a sound understanding of the support needs of people with low incomes. Above all, we are looking for a motivated, committed individual who has a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives.

Job Information
