Based out of the Hupacasath Band Office, in Port Alberni, BC the permanent part-time Finance Clerk will be working closely with the HFN Finance Technician and CFO. The duties include but are not limited to:
• Processing of accounts payable and receivable
• Ensures accurate and timely preparation of payroll, maintenance of payroll accounts, and payment of payroll remittance.
• Performs various general accounting functions such as journal entries, account reconciliation, special reports, pension fund contributions, etc.
• Accurately process daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Enter and maintain financial data with precision and attention to detail.
• Contribute to special financial or administrative projects as required.
• Filing, photocopying, mailouts, and banking duties.
This is a permanent part-time position and currently set at 21 hours (3 days) per week from 8 am – 12 Monday to Friday.
