A carpenter apprentice is an entry-level position in the field of carpentry. Apprentices hone their skills and learn about the trade through a combination of theoretical lessons and practical, hands-on training. • Assist with framing, formwork, and general carpentry tasks
• Measure, cut, and install materials under supervision
• Read and follow basic plans and instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Support carpenters and crew members as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or willing to register in a carpentry apprenticeship program (preferred)
• Education equivalent to high school diploma
• Ability to pass drug test and background check
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is an asset
• Strong willingness to learn and take direction
• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Valid driver’s license is an asset
