Now hiring summer staff at Tofino Fishing and Trading and Storm Light Outfitters. We are looking for full and part time retail sales staff. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, cash handling and computer experience and will be a team player. Staff housing is available.
During your shifts you will:
- Assist customers if finding the right clothing and gear for their next adventure
- Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both customers and staff
- POS transactions and end of day cash outs
- Assist in merchandizing store to enhance product presentation
- Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in retail, inventory control and cash handling
- Physically capability to lift moderately heavy items, stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items and use a step ladder
- Availability to work days, early evenings, weekends and holidays
