Tofino Motel Ltd. & Island Village Properties Inc. is looking for an addition to our Front Desk team. We are looking for a Front Desk Agent (20-25 h/week). This position will start as a part-time with potential extra hours if wanted. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday.

We offer good starting wage of $23/h that goes up to $25/h after training has finished, fun environment to work in and great balance between work and personal life.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Management

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Front Desk Agent makes room reservations, provides information and services to guests and other tasks to support basic, day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school or equivalent is usually required
Completion of a two-year apprenticeship program or a college program in front desk operations or hotel management is preferred but not mandatory
Fluent in English, second language beneficial
Proficiency in MS Office, especially word and excel
Excellent teamwork skills
