We are hiring for our Coffee Bar team: Junior Barista – Part-time and full-time seasonal

The Foggy Bean Coffee Bar is adding two seasonal Junior Barista positions to our summer team. For the period of June 1 until September 2, 2025.. The Junior Barista position is for someone with some experience as a barista that is looking to gain more skills, speed and confidence behind the bar. You will spend time at the counter taking orders and assisting the lead barista during peak coffee hours. You will pour espresso and steam milk during less busy times of the day.

In this role you will: 

• Welcome customers and share information about our products and services •
• Take customer orders and process payments
• Prepare iced drinks, a local tea menu and filter coffee
• Pour espresso, steam milk and adjust the grinders with supervision
• Maintain a clean and well organized work space
• Attend to open and closing duties. Including dishwashing, cleaning front and back-of-house, resetting the space for next day service and restocking retail items

• Early mornings! Shifts start early and leave you with later afternoons and evenings off. For full-time the schedule would be 4 days on, 3 off weekly. **More hours are available for full-time but 3 days off is a nice way to enjoy the short summer season. Part-time is 2-3 consecutive days/week.
