The Westerly News is looking for a part-time dynamic account representative who is passionate about helping local businesses succeed with print, social media and digital advertising.
The Westerly News is well-connected to the West Coast communities and has been the paper of record in Ucluelet, Tofino and surrounding communities for more than 50 years.The Westerly News is a part of Black Press, a division of Carpenter Media Group.
The best candidate for the job will be a strong communicator, well organized, self motivated, and enjoyworking in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. Basic computer skills (email, internet, Word, Excel) are essential. Previous sales experience is an asset. A cell phone, car and valid driver’s license are required.
This part-time position of 20 hours a week includes a base salary of $20,800 a year plus commissions on sales.
