
The job will start four days per week (part-time), followed by full time work for competent workers. The hours you will be working will range from 7-8 hours per day. (Longer hours may be required during heavy sap flow).
Work will include:
Must be able to lift 60lbs, walk uneven terrain, and work in the field under varied weather conditions. The field work will involve clearing brush, setting up collection hoses on sloped ground, installing and maintaining equipment. You will be preparing sap collection systems and tanks, setting spiles, leak checking, and general repairs. The transport of sap from the field to the sugaring facility, cleaning and maintaining equipment are required.
Pre-Season: (September to December)
Maple Season: (December until Mid March)

Desired Qualifications:
- Work Experience in Eastern Canada Maple Syrup Production
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with small engines, transfer pumps, and or electronics
-Maple Sap collection system installation and maintenance experience
- Ability to follow directions and work independently with attention to detail
- Drivers License
