We’re looking for reliable, hands-on Production Operators to join our growing housing manufacturing team in Port Alberni, BC.

The Production Operator supports the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacture of factory-built housing components within a controlled production environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality work, and wants to be part of a team delivering high-quality homes through modern, factory-based construction.

What you’ll do

• Assemble panelised housing components such as walls, floors, roofs, and service cores
• Carry out framing, insulation, lining, and internal fit-out tasks
• Use hand tools, power tools, and factory equipment safely
• Follow drawings, job sheets, and work instructions
• Check your work for quality and flag any issues early
• Keep your workstation clean, organised, and safe

What we’re looking for

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or a hands-on trades
• Strong manual skills
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

Nice to have (but not required)

• Experience in panelised or factory-based construction
• Carpentry or timber-frame experience
• Familiarity with saws, nail guns, or factory machinery
