Witch’s Brew Café & Bake Shop – Port Alberni

Alright.

We are busy.
We are growing.
And I need another solid human in the front of house.

Not a student.
Not “I can only work two very specific shifts.”
Not “I might move away in September.”

I need someone permanent. Local. Reliable. Available for ALL shifts — mornings, afternoons, weekends.

If that already feels like too much… this isn’t your post.

The Role:

• Front of house barista.
• Customer service with personality.
• Espresso slinging like a potion master.
• Not afraid of dishwater.
• Not too precious to throw together a sandwich or jump on prep when needed.
• Comfortable moving fast when the line hits the door.
• We are a team. There is no “that’s not my job” here.
• Barista experience? Amazing.
• No experience but strong work ethic and a brain? We’ll train you.
• Food Safe required (current or willing to obtain).

Hours:

Part-time to start.
By mid-May it ramps up to full time.

Permanent position. Not seasonal. Not temporary.

Wage:

Starting at $18/hour, dependent on experience.

Applicants with strong barista or café experience will be considered for a higher starting wage.

You might be their person if:

• You show up on time.
• You don’t crumble under pressure.
• You move with urgency and still treat people well.
• You take pride in clean counters and a tight station.
• You understand that busy is a blessing.
