We are looking for an energetic, organized, and versatile team member who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a unique hybrid position that combines administrative support, community outreach, magazine production assistance, deliveries, event support, household and office management and organization.

Position Summary

The office assistant and community engagement is a key support role responsible for helping manage the daily operations of our businesses and maintaining organized, efficient work environments. This position combines community engagement, administration, publication support, household and office management, errands, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys creating systems, maintaining order, and helping both people and businesses operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

●Create and schedule engaging social media posts and assist with content planning

●Distribute magazines and promotional materials throughout the community

●Pick up items from local business partners and coordinate deliveries

●Deliver welcome packages and other materials to recipients

●Make welcome and check-in phone calls to new business partners

●Attend occasional markets, trade shows, and community events to represent the company and staff informational booths

●Complete filing, data entry, and general office administration tasks

●Maintain office and home organization, supplies, and cleaning duties

●Contact advertisers regarding renewals and maintain strong partner relationships

●Support general office operations and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

●Strong communication and customer service skills

●Comfortable speaking with businesses and community members

●Organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

●Basic computer skills and familiarity with social media platforms

●Self-motivated and able to work independently

●Valid driver’s license

●Ability to lift and carry magazines, boxes, and event materials as needed

What we are looking for;

●Positive attitude and strong people skills

●Comfortable working both indoors and out in the community

●Sales or account management experience is considered an asset

●Event or promotional experience is an asset
