Your Opportunity Starts with Training
The Green Building Foundations & Manufacturing training program, delivered by North Island College (NIC), is taking place November 16 – December 18, 2026
This practical training program is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to work in the construction and manufacturing industries, with a focus on workplace safety, construction tools and equipment, reducing waste and conserving natural resources.

Successfully complete the training and you'll be prioritized for consideration in IGV Housing's early 2027 recruitment intake, with the opportunity to launch an exciting new career as a full-time Production Operator at our Port Alberni manufacturing facility.
