Part-Time Community Outreach Worker (Temporary)

1.  A diploma in human/social services or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2. One to three years previous work in a similar environment required.
3. Direct program delivery experience in the community social services sector with a demonstrated working knowledge of community-based programs and related provincial and community support systems
4. Full & valid BC. Drivers License, own vehicle in good working condition and appropriate insurance
5. Level 1 First Aid training
6. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
7. Food Safe certification

Skills:

1. Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications
2. Knowledge of west coast communities
3. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
