Responsibilities:

• Assign Guest Rooms and Common Areas to Housekeeping staff.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs and quality checks to drive cleanliness, productivity, efficiency, exceptional service, and guest satisfaction at all points of contact.
• Drive effective communication across the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure consistency, cohesiveness and clear understanding of objectives and priorities.
• Issue supplies and equipment as needed and participate in regular inventories to ensure proper supply levels.
• Assist and document instances of guest or employee incidents.
• Ensure adherence to all company and brand policies, practices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain and communicate an up-to-date body of knowledge regarding proper use of and maintenance of laundry equipment, chemical usage, and care of linens.
• Make recommendations to meet and exceed company objectives and to enhance service and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as needed and as directed by management team.

We are currently seeking female workers for our casual pool to cover for absences. As a Transition House Worker, you will be responsible for providing support, advocacy, information, activities and referrals for Transition house resident women and their children. You will participate as a team member to ensure safe, healthy, and cohesive transition house operations and facility. This position requires union membership. Shifts are12.5hours or 6.5 hours and offered to casual staff every two weeks. The number of shifts available vary depending on full-time staff absences and there is no obligation to accept shifts. Farm Technicians work five days out of seven. Sites are not camp-based; workers travel, by company boat, in and out each day. Farm Techs are responsible for general farm operations such as net cleaning, basic maintenance, assistance during harvesting, feeding and care of fish, operating boats and equipment, environmental monitoring, as well as other tasks. Because farming is a team effort, reliability and dependable attendance is key.

Starting wage is $22.01 per hour going to $22.51 after 6 months. Company paid benefits package, company matching+ RRSP, safety gear and wellness spending allowance after the wait period (3 consecutive months).
