Reporting to the Spa Director, this position is responsible for delivering and supporting the spa vision that provides an unparalleled spa experience for our guests.

Responsibilities include greet all guests, answer phone calls, assist guests with questions regarding spa services and products, book appointments, clean areas, check guest into the computer system and charge for services performed. Must be flexible and available to work weekends, weeknights and days.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Punctual and able to work with a team as well as independently
  • Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments
  • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves spa with grace
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation
  • Must enjoy sharing information on products and home care use
  • Keep Spa in order, both front and back
  • Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
  • Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
  • Confirm next day appointments
  • Ensure all laundry needs are met, lockers are cleaned, loaded and ready to use

  • Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task
  • Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must possess basic math and money handling skills
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication, listening and computer skills
  • Must be a team player

You​ ​would​ ​be​ ​working​ ​directly​ ​under​ ​a​ ​Red​ ​Seal​ ​Chef​ ​and​ ​Pastry​ ​Chef​ ​-​ ​a​ ​great​ ​team​ ​learning environment​ ​for​ ​someone​ ​thinking​ ​of​ ​pursuing​ ​a​ ​culinary​ ​career​ ​(especially​ ​a​ ​co-op​ ​student​ ​in​ ​a culinary​ ​arts​ ​program​ ​and/or​ ​apprenticeship​ ​program).

Duties​ ​include​:​ ​baking​ ​bread,​ ​cooking​ ​savoury​ ​items,​ ​making​ ​daily​ ​sandwiches,​ ​setting​ ​up​ ​the lunch​ ​line​ ​with​ ​the​ ​salads​ ​and​ ​soups,​ ​and​ ​are​ ​responsible​ ​for​ ​the​ ​lunch​ ​service.   • FOODSAFE​ ​is​ ​an​ ​asset.
  • Previous​ ​experience​ ​in​ ​the​ ​hospitality​ ​industry​ ​is​ ​essential.
